A man was charged Sunday night with theft of services after he allegedly tampered with a water meter at a woman’s apartment, according to city police.

Charles E. McIntyre, 62, of 619 Bronson St., Apt. 3, is accused of removing a dial reader from the meter at the apartment of Tina Guildoo, 159 Mechanic St., on the afternoon of Aug. 27, police said. He is summoned for arraignment in City Court.
