ROSSIE — Theron A. Pankey, 35, of 1121 Route 11, Gouverneur, was arrested by state police at 4:07 p.m. Saturday and charged with assault.

He allegedly struck his girlfriend, Melissa M. Bonnell, in the head in the town of Rossie.

He is scheduled to appear in Rossie Town Court.
