Gurdip S. Samra, 47, of 15702 Pheasant Run Road, town of Watertown, was charged by state police late Monday night with harassment and criminal obstruction of breath and blood circulation.

He is accused of choking his wife, Amarjit, 48, and of pulling her hair, accoring to police. He was released following arraignment before Brownville Town Justice Kathy L. Quencer.
