ADAMS Aaron C. Worden, 41, of 25289 Route 3, Watertown, was charged late Saturday by village police with a felony charge of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
Police said he was found possessing brass knuckles while being cited with having excessive vehicle window tint on West Church Street.
Metal knuckles are outlawed in New York, and Mr. Worden is prohibited from possessing weapons because he has a criminal conviction, second-degree menacing, stemming from an incident in October 2010 in the town of Champion, where he threatened three people with a shotgun.
Mr. Worden suffered a graze wound to his head during a shooting and robbery at his town of Watertown home in April 2006.
