OGDENSBURG - The U.S. Coast Guard out of Alexandria Bay was called Wednesday to assist a boat stalled by engine trouble on the St. Lawrence River by Lighthouse Point here.
Ogdensburg police called the Coast Guard after receiving a distressed boat call at 5:18 p.m.
Petty Officer 2nd Class Nicholas Grim said Thursday the 26-foot-long cabin cruiser with two Canadians on board encountered engine trouble. The Coast Guard towed the vessel to nearby Prescott, Ontario.
