CANTON A Tupper Lake man accused of possessing more than 1,300 images of child pornography on his computer pleaded guilty to the charge in Albany District Court Thursday.
James L. Tabolt Jr., 39, of 27 Facteau Ave., faces five to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine. In addition, hell be required to register as a sex offender.
A state police investigator who is part of the New York Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force detected child pornography being made available via a Tupper Lake internet protocol address in December 2010.
The images were matched to a computer at Tabolts residence and a search warrant was requested.
