POTSDAM Village police are seeking the driver accused of hitting a Clarkson University student while she crossed the street Thursday.
The student, whose name was not released, was struck by a gray van while she crossed Maple Street at about 5:30 p.m.
The driver stopped and asked the student if she was all right, then continued after she said she was, police said. The Potsdam Rescue Squad was requested, and a patrol was dispatched to the college.
Village police ask the driver to contact the Police Department about the incident.
