Amber L. Heise, 21, of 412 Lincoln St., Apt. 3, was charged on by city police at 5:25 p.m. Saturday at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building with endangering the welfare of a child. She is accused of throwing a half-full bottle of soda out of a moving vehicle, striking an 11-month-old boy on his head at 5:40 p.m. Tuesday in the 1000 block of State Street. She was given an appearance ticket for City Court.
In the same incident, Darci L. Robbins, 20, of 1708 Ohio St., Apt. 94, threw an ice scraper out of a motor vehicle, nearly striking the same boy, city police said. She, too, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and is to appear in City Court.
