Watertown police have charged Anthony M. Murphy, 34, of 105 Lakeview Drive, Dexter, with petit larceny.

Arrested at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building at 2:45 p.m. Monday, he was processed and released with an appearance ticket for City Court.

According to police, Mr. Murphy took a Mongoose bicycle, valued at $250, from a residence in the 100 block of Arsenal Street on Sept. 7.
