State Sen. Patricia A. Ritchie, R-Heuvelton, will host 64 employers at her Job and Career Fair on Wednesday.

The fair will be held from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Odd Fellows Hall, Linden Street, Ogdensburg.

“The number of businesses and organizations expected at my Job and Career Fair is a true testament to the fact that there are employment opportunities out there for job-seekers,” she said in a news release. “I’m happy to be able to provide a chance for these hardworking people to find employment and put their skills and talents to use.”

People attending the fair will also have the opportunity to access tips on resume writing, interview techniques and other skills to help make the job-hunting process more successful.

People looking to preregister for the event or view a list of the employers signed up so far can go online to www.ritchie.nysenate.gov.

Scheduled to attend the event are: Adirondack Economic Development Corp., Ansen Corporation, Atlantic Testing Laboratories, Attain Lab, Ogdensburg Boys and Girls Club, BOCES Adult and Continuing Education, Canton-Potsdam Hospital, Cerebral Palsy Association of the North Country, Clarkson School of Business/Graduate Programs and Clarkson University.
