COLTON — A Schenectady man allegedly found with marijuana was arrested by St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies at 12:26 p.m. Sept. 14.

Anthony M. Tote, 21, was charged with criminal possession of marijuana.

Mr. Tote was stopped at a checkpoint on Route 56 in the town of Colton and found to be in possession of 1.6 ounces of the drug, deputies said.

Deputies also seized a small amount of cash, and Mr. Tote’s car was confiscated by a federal agency.

He was issued an appearance ticket for Colton Town Court.
