Gov. Romney has made it clear that if your income is in the lower 80 percent of the population, you are not one of his people. He said at an exclusive fundraiser, “If you support Obama, you are just looking out for the federal government to help you through what you thought you were entitled to.”

OK, if you are a federal government employee, employee of the post office, a member of the military, a family member of a military man or woman, an employee of a federal contractor or subcontractor, collecting Social Security or disability Social Security, collecting federal pensions or veterans benefits including pension, or if you work for an organization that receives federal funding like local governments or nonprofits doing community services, you have been mistaken to believe that the federal government owes you anything.

Does that mean if you don’t pay your way, then you are not entitled to use the federal interstate highway system, the federal parks, the Amtrak rail system or the airports controlled by the federal government?

He doesn’t want you, and you should honor his belief by not supporting him with your money or your vote.
