Patricia Ann Conger Murphy Slaughterpassed away on August 27,2012 afterbattling pancreatic cancer.

She was born on June3,1939to Glenn Gordon and Florence Opal (Grant) Conger in Parishville, New York.Married to Michael Joseph Murphy on November 24, 1956 and after their divorce, she married William Roscoe Slaughter on September 19, 1981.She was preceded in death by both.

She has left behind a legacy of hard work and perserverence. Always active in the VFW, Boy Scouts, Church callings and always serving others along the way. She is survived by by her daughters,Christa Madora Murphy Barnes (Lawrence) of Lewiston, New York, Glenna Mashell Murphy Diamond (Brad) of Springville, Utah, Deidre’ Malane Murphy Accordino (Paul) of Diamond Valley, Utah and Dianne Peggy Slaughter Hammeren (Roger) of Washington, Utah,Twenty grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

All who wish to attend a graveside service to be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, September 27, 2012at Southville Cemetary, Stockholm Center, New York are welcome.

Donations to to the Boy Scouts of America are encouraged instead of flowers.
