William (Bill) I. Lawler died at home on August 29, 2012 he suffered as a diabetic for many years.

Born on January 12, 1939 in Boston Massachusetts. He graduated from Dorchester Senior High School and attended college at North EasternUniversity. Bill married Sharon E. Callahan from Watertown, New York, on August 22, 1959.

Bill worked as a computer engineer for a few different companies but most recently at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center for 33 years.

His Mother and Father Mary Mullen Lawler and William Lawler are deceased, as well as his brother Arthur and a daughter Elizabeth Kellie Lawler.

Bill is survived by his siblings: Phillip and Frank Lawler(All from Massachusetts), his children: Debora A. Bell and husband Matthew W.,

and Stephen Patrick Lawler(All living in Maryland).

Bill enjoyed golfing, reading, and traveling, and especially enjoyed time spent with his grandchildren; Justin William, Corielle Elizabeth, and Cara Lynn Bell as well as Justin’s girlfriend of 7 years – Jasmine Goicoechea.
