LOWVILLE — A 51-year-old North Syracuse man was arrested for driving while intoxicated following a Saturday evening accident on East State Street.

Shortly after 6 p.m. Alexander Pobedinsky left the roadway, striking one residence and coming to a stop after hitting a second residence, village police said.

He complained of pain in his right side, rib area, according to police. Results from a blood sample for blood alcohol content are pending.

Mr. Pobedinsky was additionally charged with speed not reasonable and prudent, failure to keep right and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle.
