Mary Thomas (Dobransky) formally of Carthage NY passed away at 8:16 PM September the 7th, 2012 at the Halifax Hospital in Daytona Beach Florida.

Born June 24, 1944, in Carthage NY, the daughter of Andrew and Arietta Dobransky. She graduated from Carthage High School in 1960.

She married Forrest W. Thomas November 7, 1961 at the Church of Christ in Felts mills NY.

Mary is survived by her husband Forrest W. Thomas of Daytona Beach Florida, sons Forrest W Thomas Jr. Carthage NY; Mark A Thomas of Natural Bridge NY, daughters, Mrs. Karen Dowling, Fine NY; and Mrs. Jeanette Cronce Seymour Tennessee. Thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Two brothers, Andrew Dobransky of Watertown NY, Charles Dobransky Baton Rouge Louisiana and a sister, Alverta Paddock, Hammond NY, also survive her.

My wife was and is a wonderful woman, wife, mother and grandmother. Her ministry was help’s. She loved reaching out to others but never said a word.

We’ve attended Calvary Christian Center in Ormond Beach FL for the past 12 years. Mary loved God, read the word of God often, and worshipped him for who he is. The King of Kings and Lord of Lords, Our provider, Our savior, Our deliverer, The Prince of peace, The Joy of our salvation. There is nothing to difficult for God; He is our joy in times of heartbreak and trials.

Memorial services for Mary will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on September 29th at New Covenant Fellowship Church, West Street, Carthage, New York. There will be lunch in the fellowship hall following the memorial.
