LORRAINE State police allege that a Lorraine woman was assaulted by two women in a tavern here early the morning of Sept. 16, and then, as she tried to get away from them in her car, she backed into a pedestrian.
Chelsea M. Riley, 25, of 3358 County Route 29, has been charged with driving while intoxicated as a result of her accident in the parking lot at JDs Inn, Lorraine Avenue.
Two women are charged with third-degree assault for their alleged attack upon Mr. Riley in the tavern, police said. They are Tara A. Farr, 27, of 20653 County Route 198, who was cited Thursday, and Margaret M. Beckstead, 35, of 21601 Floral Drive, town of Watertown, who was charged Monday.
Police said Ms. Riley attempted to get away as the alleged assailants chased her to her auto. When she backed up the vehicle, she struck Orlin K. Lobdell, 56, Adams, who did not require treatment, police said.
Ms. Riley was treated at Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown, for a head injury which she suffered in the assault, police said.
