Watertown- LeRoy H. Draper, 90, of High St., Watertown passed away on September 24, 2012 at the Samaritan Medical Center.Mr. Draper was born on December 28, 1921 in DesMoines, IA. He served in the United States Army during WWII and received the Good Conduct Medal, Victory Medal and the Asiatic Pac T Campaign Ribbon. He then married Mary Franklin in July 1951 and they lived in Watertown. Mrs. Draper passed away in March 1982. Mr. Draper was a machine operator at Frink Manufacturing in Clayton.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, singing to his music and spending time with his family.
Mr. Draper is survived by his son LeRoy H. Draper, Jr, daughter in law Robin Draper and daughter Gloria Hall, all of Watertown, several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, A daughter Vicki Janack passed away in 2007 and son in law Edmond Janack in 2011, and a son John Draper in 2008.
The funeral service will be Thursday September 27, 1:30pm at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home, Rev. Steven Murray of Holy Family Church officiating. Calling hours will be from11:00am to 1:30pm prior to the funeral.
