Clarkson University’s Patrick Carroll won Liberty League Performer of the Week honors for men’s cross country Monday after his outing in the Jack Daniels Shootout last weekend in Cortland.

Carroll, from Queensbury, finished eighth out of 105 runners in a time of 19 minutes, 30.8 seconds over 6,000 meters to help Clarkson finish in the top 10 for the second straight invitational.

One Clarkson player and three St. Lawrence players were named league rookies of the week. Victoria Kirkemo won the honor for Clarkson in volleyball. For St. Lawrence, Lizzy Saward won the honor in field hockey, Graham Niles in golf, and Kelsey West in women’s soccer.
