Obama mishandled Libya situation

Instead of reporting the real news as usual for the past four years, the media are continuing with their biased yellow journalism. They are going along with President Obama, placing the blame for the killing of the U.S. ambassador to Libya, Chris Stevens, and three other Americans on a film shown on YouTube — “Innocence of Muslims,” which defamed the prophet Muhammad.

Hillary Clinton and President Obama should never have apologized for the American people. This only added more fuel to the fire because now those who committed violence feel that their actions are justified.

Now that the film has been brought to everyone’s attention, the violence is getting worse. Libya gave the administration a warning three days before that something was going to happen on the anniversary of 9-11. Knowing this, I don’t think the attack had anything to do with the film.

While President Obama was busy sitting with David Letterman telling everyone that the attack on the U.S. Embassy in Libya on 9-11 was because of this film, his administration was finally admitting that the attack was a planned act of terrorism. Maybe the president should physically attend his intel briefings instead of depending on his iPad Tablet to keep him updated.

The Watertown Times had an article on how different states want to eliminate the tough voter ID laws. What a coincidence that this is happening just in time for the presidential election. How many people complain when they have to show ID to buy cigarettes and alcohol? Now we even have to show ID at the doctor’s office, so why not have to show ID when we are voting, especially when we are voting for the next president of the United States. If the Obama administration was not so worried about the election, this would not be happening.

We need to pray for our country because little by little we are losing the freedoms that many of our men and women have fought and died for us to have. I don’t know about you, but I don’t want the government to own me. It should be the other way around: we should own the government and they should be working for us. I do believe it when Glenn Beck says, “The American people are guilty of practicing willful ignorance! All I can say is get out and vote! God bless America, liberty and justice for all, born and unborn!
