CANTON — The Fire Department will hold a simulated two-car accident with multiple injuries beginning at 10 a.m. today on Brewer Road.

More than half the fire and rescue departments in St. Lawrence County are expected to participate in the drill, which will involve 15 patients and the new helicopter, which may land behind the E.J. Noble Medical Building on East Main Street. The injured will be taken to Canton-Potsdam Hospital, Potsdam. This influx drill assists the hospital with its state accreditation.

Brewer Road will be closed during the drill with fire police on the scene to direct traffic.
