Michael J. Pierce, 22, of 126 N. Orchard St., was arrested late Sunday by Jefferson County sheriffs deputies in the town of Rodman on a charge of second-degree criminal contempt.
Adams Town Justice Donald B. Shaw ordered him held without bail in the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building.
He is accused of ignoring stay-away terms of a Family Court order of protection Sunday night by being at the residence of his estranged wife, Desiree D. Pierce, 22, on Pork Hill Road in the town of Rodman, according to the sheriffs office.
Mr. Pierce also has pending charges of second-degree menacing and disorderly conduct in an incident July 21 at the Kenneth E. Stevens residence in the town of Rodman.
