A military graveside service will be held for Frank Elek, 95, at the Fairview Cemetery, School Street in Parishville on Saturday, Oct 13,2012 @ 11 am.

Frank was a 60 year member of the Parishville United Methodist Church. He was a long time member of Amber Lodge Masons, a past Master and District Grand Officer, a member of the Scottish Rite, and a member of the Shrine in Watertown, New York. Frank was also a charter member of the Historical Society of Parishville.

Frank is survived by his wife of 66 years, Edwina Dougan Elek, son Thomas Elek, daughter Frankie Lee (William) Leach, son Michael Elek, son-in-law Dr. David Schor, 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, many friends. He was predeceased by daughter Dr. Susan Mary Elek and son Patrick Christopher Elek.

There will be a lunch-in following the graveside service at the Parishville united Methodist Church for all family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, if anyone so desires, the family requests donations be made to Parisville United Methodist Church or Historical Society of Parishville.
