Rep. Bill Owens and Matt Doheny's pollsters have good news! Their candidates are doing really well!
As first scooped by The Hill, internal polling for Mr. Owens, D-Plattsburgh, and Mr. Doheny, a Republican of Watertown, shows each candidate in a good position. Mr. Owens' poll shows him with a 14-point lead. Mr. Dohney's show him within the margin of error.
Clearly, something is wrong here. The margin of error is five percent, so unless Mr. Owens has a nine-point lead, one of these polls is way off.
So who you gonna believe? Me? Your lying eyes? Doheny? Owens? Don Hassig? Kellie Greene? Independent polls? Ah, who cares, really? Just go vote for the guy you like.
Here's a link to the memo for the Owens poll, which shows President Obama beating Mitt Romney by 12 points (!!!!) in the 21st Congressional District.
