The Jefferson Community College board of trustees has a successor to Nathan A. Holloway.
Former Fort Drum Garrison Commander David J. Clark was appointed by Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo to begin his service on the board at Wednesdays meeting. His term will expire in June 2017.
Mr. Clark is the site manager for the posts General Dynamics Information Technology.
Clark has extensive military and civilian experience in a broad range of community services and business processes relating to fiscal management, project management, operations, training, business development and human resources, according to a statement.
Mr. Cuomo also reappointed board member James P. Scordo, who has served since June 2009. His term will expire in June 2019.
