LOWVILLE — Lewis County General Hospital is moving two general surgeons from its Beaver Falls clinic to the main campus here.

Drs. David F. Rosner and Vu Dinh on Monday will move into the first-floor Suite 120 in the hospital’s Medical Arts Building, 7785 N. State St., according to a release from the county-owned hospital.

“Moving our offices to the hospital campus has many advantages for patients,” Dr. Rosner said in a statement. “Patients will have access to preoperative and diagnostic care, lab and EKG. Patients will still see the same friendly office staff and will also continue to receive the special attention they have come to expect from us.”

The new office phone number is 376-5163.

“This move allows for coordination with all of the hospital surgeons,” Tina M. Kerfien, the hospital’s clinic nurse manager, said in the release. “It is ideal for patients to be seen here at the facility where they can access all ancillary services.”

Drs. Daniel C. Ellison and James V. Stillerman also practice general surgery at the hospital and have offices on the Lowville campus. Their office numbers are 376-5473 for Dr. Ellison and 376-5019 for Dr. Stillerman.

All four of the surgeons are welcoming new patients, including self referrals.

Dr. Rosner, who is president of the hospital medical staff, in December 2010 moved from his West Carthage office to the new Beaver River Family Health Center at 9559 Main St. in Beaver Falls.

Dr. Dinh joined the surgical practice in February.

The Beaver Falls facility will continue to house two family practitioners — Drs. Shirley Tuttle-Malone and Thomas Birk — and physician assistants Brittani L. Bickel and Melinda Rosner.
