Morgan Kiernan scored three goals and assisted on another — all in the second half — as Jefferson County Community College rallied past Fulton-Montgomery CC to record a 6-3 victory in Region III women’s soccer in Watertown on Wednesday.

Mackenzie Orndorf tallied a goal and an assist for the Cannoneers (8-4). Kate Gehrke and Kayla Brown also scored for JCC. Goalkeeper Amber Dibble made three saves to earn the win. Sierra Sickle had two assists for the Raiders (1-7).

n Haley Hider scored from 35 yards in the 77th minute to lead the Clarkson University women’s soccer team to a 2-1 win over SUNY Potsdam in a nonconference game Wednesday night at Clarkson.

SUNY Potsdam (2-9 overall) took a 1-0 lead in the 57th minute when Heather Johnson scored from Erin McClusky. The Golden Knights (5-3-2) answered with a goal from Jessica Budaj in the 63rd minute, which came on a shot from Megan Strijek that rebounded off the goalpost.
