Justin G. Collins, 31, Silver Creek, was arrested Sept. 29 by Watertown police after allegedly trying to steal $162.58 worth of merchandise from Halloween City, 1068 Arsenal St.

Mr. Collins was charged with petit larceny and will appear in City Court. After being released on $500 bail, he was turned over to state police for extradition on an arrest warrant in Fredonia, police said.

Silver Creek and Fredonia are villages in Chautauqua County, south of the Buffalo area.

Further information on the warrant was not provided.
