City police charged Michael L. Scully, 38, of 324 Central St., with disorderly conduct Saturday after he allegedly tried to fight staff members at Mick’s Place, 204 Factory St.

According to police, Mr. Scully punched several employees of the bar who were attempting to calm him, resulting in a crowd moving to avoid being hit.

Arrested at 2:15 Saturday, he was taken to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building and held on $100 bail.
