POTSDAM — St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies charged Bert E. Blade, 56, of 6258 Route 11, Canton, with second-degree aggravated harassment after a series of reportedly alarming and unwanted texts he sent Saturday.

According to deputies, Mr. Blade sent several messages to the person, who was not identified in the arrest report.

Mr. Blade, who was arraigned in Stockholm Town Court, was held on $500 bail. He is to appear in Potsdam Town Court.
