LOWVILLE The Lewis County Board of Elections is planning a last-chance voter registration event Saturday.
County residents may sign up to vote from 2 to 9 p.m. at regular polling sites in each of the countys 17 towns.
In the two towns with multiple polling sites, Leyden and West Turin, only the joint town/village court building in Port Leyden and the Constableville fire hall will be open for the event.

Saturday will be the last chance to register for the Nov. 6 general election, featuring races for U.S. president, Congress and Senate, along with Lewis County judge and some town and village contests.
