DEKALB JUNCTION — Michelle L. Skidds, 16, of 2279 County Route 21, Hermon, was charged by St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies with assault on Oct. 4 at Hermon-DeKalb Central School.

According to police, Ms. Skidds grabbed an unidentified fellow student and forcibly cut her hair with a pair of scissors. She then hit her multiple times in the head, causing injury.

She is scheduled to appear in DeKalb Town Court.
