Jefferson County is likely to sign a contract with Passero Associates, Rochester, for $298,300 in engineering and consulting services for the extension of Taxiway A of the airport in Dexter.

The Board of Legislators’ General Services Committee approved the contract unanimously Tuesday night. It goes to the full board for consideration.

Federal and state government funds are helping pay for the project.
