WINTHROP— The Stockholm Historical Organization will open its doors for an event from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday.

The museum, housed in the Stockholm Municipal Building in Winthrop, will show displays of a one-room schoolhouse, a general store and an early 19th century one-room home. Historical objects such as tools, furniture and a horse-drawn carriage will also be on display.

Visitors will also be able to peruse historical photos and clippings from Stockholm’s past.

The event is free, refreshments and snacks will be served and a silent auction will take place throughout the afternoon.
