Selina E. Sochia, 19, of 47882 County Route 111, Redwood, was arrested Friday morning on a charge of fourth-degree grand larceny following a state police investigation into the shoplifting of two laptop computers.
She was arraigned before town of Watertown Justice David A. Renzi, who fixed bail at $2,500, sending her to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building.
Police said the computers, priced at a total of $1,214, were stolen July 24 at Walmart Super Center, outer Arsenal Street.
A man is being sought in the same incident, police said.
Ms. Sochia was identified by viewing store security video, which also showed the car in which she and the man drove away, according to court documents.
She is also facing in City Court charges of petit larceny and conspiracy, lodged July 21 by Watertown police for the alleged theft of pills.
