Watertown police arrested a second man early Friday morning in an investigation of an assault that occurred early the morning of Oct. 4 in the 200 block of Factory Street.

Michael A. Moss, 22, of 812 Rutland Place, is charged with third-degree assault for the alleged repeated punching and kicking of Anthony G. Sparks, 44, Watertown, according to police documents.

Mr. Moss has a prior conviction for third-degree assault, for which he was sentenced in January 2009 to three years probation.

Also charged with assault in the Sparks incident is Aaron R. Lolar, 27, of 926 Remington St.
