CROGHAN Phillip T. Peck, 31, of 9768 Route 812, Apt. 18, was charged by Lewis County sheriffs deputies with fourth-degree criminal mischief, criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, unlawful imprisonment and second-degree harassment following a domestic incident early Sunday.
He is accused of trying choke his girlfriend, Cindy L. Miller, and threatening to kill her. Deputies said they observed him throwing items belonging to Ms. Miller onto the sidewalk, causing them to break.
He was arraigned in New Bremen Town Court and was sent to Lewis County jail, Lowville, on $1,000 bail.
