Jacoby C. Smith, 22, of 117 High St., Apt. 1, is ordered to appear in Watertown Town Court after being charged Monday by state police with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.

Police said he is accused of using credit cards on Sept. 26 that were stolen the same day from a vehicle at Target, outer Arsenal Street. Police withheld the name of the theft victim.

The case is similar but apparently unrelated to another credit card theft in the Target parking lot two days later. In that incident, Michael C. Howard, 27, of 132 Maywood Terrace, was arrested by state police.
