LOWVILLE Village police on Tuesday charged five Lowville residents were charged in connection with an alleged fight last month, including one accused of hitting another with a vehicle.
Charged with disorderly conduct were Michael S. Ielfield, 28; Alex W. Jackson and Erica C. Jackson, both 19, and two 17-year-old boys, whom police did not identify because of their age.
The five were accused of fighting Sept. 13 in the Lowville Commons parking lot off South State Street.
Mr. Jackson was additionally charged with leaving the scene of a personal injury accident for allegedly hitting Mr. Ielfield with his vehicle, then driving off. Police did not release the extent of Mr. Ielfields injuries.
All five are to answer the charges in Village Court.
An investigation into the incident is continuing, with additional arrests pending, police said.
