MIDDLETOWN Winning auto races is nothing new for veteran driver Brett Hearn of Sussex, N.J.
While he had been in a slump the past few years in some series races, Hearn has apparently regained his form.
Hearn swept both modified races last weekend at the Orange County Fair Speedway at the 51st annual Eastern States Weekend.
Hearn, who won the rain-shortened Super DIRT Week series race at Syracuse earlier this month, captured Sundays 200-lap feature.
Billy Decker finished second, while Watertown native Tim McCreadie was third. McCreadie had to regroup after being involved in a lap-79 collision. Watertown drivers Tim Fuller and Billy Dunn finished eighth and 19th, respectively.
The Super DIRT Series ends next month with three days of racing (Nov. 1-3) at The Dirt Track at Charlotte, N.C.
