A Queens man admitted Wednesday in Jefferson County Court that he tried to possess cocaine with the intent to sell the drug in Watertown.
Todd L. Ross, 26, pleaded guilty to third-degree attempted criminal possession of a controlled substance. Sentencing was set for Dec. 17.
He was charged with possessing crack cocaine Aug. 15 after the Metro-Jefferson Drug Task Force raided 316 William St.
Also in court, Paul T. Clark, 44, Oneida, formerly of Watertown, pleaded guilty to fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. He is due to be sentenced Dec. 19. He was charged June 3 with possessing nine spools of wire valued at $4,834 that were reported stolen April 3 from the construction site of the new Davidson auto dealership on Route 11 in the town of Watertown.
