A father and son were charged with resisting arrest Friday night following a dispute with a neighbor.
Trevor J. Doyle, 26, of 292 E. Main St., Watertown, was charged by city with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Police said he yelled at a neighbor, Thomas Pound, then walked away from officers and closed a door on them as they attempted to arrest him about 8 p.m. Friday at his fathers residence at 165 Union St. lower rear apartment.
A few minutes later, Jamie M. Doyle, 46, was charged police at that residence with resisting arrest. Police said he shut a rear door while officers attempted to arrest Trevor Doyle.
Both men were held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building pending arraignment in city court.
