POTSDAM Hospice and Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley will convert a house on Route 11 into office space for its expanding palliative care project.
The house, which borders hospices facilities on Route 11, was purchased from Mark and Ceylon Reed earlier this month.
Hospice and Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley has offered palliative care for the past three years and plans to expand the program soon, said MacKenzie F. Mac Shoen, finance director.
Converting the house into office space is the first step in that plan. Eventually, clinical services will be offered in the building, Mr. Shoen said.
