ALEXANDRIA BAY Tracey D. McIntosh, the town of Alexandria Municipal Arena operator, was arrested Monday by state police on a complaint filed by one of his subordinates at the arena.
Mr. McIntosh, 52, Route 26, is charged with forcible touching, a misdemeanor. Police said a complaint from a 23-year-old Clayton woman who is a part-time cleaner at the arena prompted the arrest.
An investigator said he believes the town has suspended Mr. McIntosh with pay, but town Supervisor Dale D. Hunneyman declined to comment. He referred inquiries to the town attorney, Joseph W. Russell, who could not be reached Tuesday.
The woman came to police on Oct. 19, claiming that Mr. McIntosh had subjected her to ongoing conduct involving inappropriate touching on the job since July 2011, the investigator said. Mr. McIntosh was released to await arraignment in Village Court.
Mr. McIntosh could not be reached for comment.
