CANTON The St. Lawrence University mens and womens cross country teams swept Liberty League honors for the second straight week after winning the conference championship at Clarkson on Saturday.
Saints senior Sam Rackoc won the mens 8-kilometer race for his second straight performer of the week honor and fifth overall. Spencer Patterson was named rookie of the week for the second week in a row after a fifth place finish. Junior Amy Cymerman was named womens performer of the week for the second consecutive week after winning on the 6-kilometer course. Ella Martin earned rookie of the week honors.
In field hockey, SLU senior Courtney Cartier earned performer of the week honors after handing out a school-record four assists.
St. Lawrences Seyefe Brouk and Clarksons Victoria Kirkemo were named rookies of the week in mens soccer and volleyball. The Saints Erika Gobeille in womens soccer, Samantha Moffitt in womens swimming, and Katie Prue in volleyball were named to the honor roll.
