POTSDAM — SUNY Potsdam freshman goaltender Austin Keiser was named State University of New York Athletic Conference rookie of the week.

Keiser made 29 saves in his collegiate debut as Potsdam rallied to beat St. Michael’s, 4-3, in overtime on Friday. Keiser turned aside 15 shots in the third period to help the Bears rally from a 3-1 deficit.

SUNY Potsdam next faces perennial conference power SUNY Plattsburgh at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Massena Arena.
