■ The Children’s Miracle Network of Northern New York at Samaritan Medical Center’s 12th annual radiothon will take place from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. today, Thursday and Friday on the Border 106.7 WBDR-FM and the Rock 94.1 WOTT-FM.

■ COLTON — The “S” Curve Bridge on Route 56 reopened to traffic Tuesday and the temporary structure used to replace it was taken out of service. Remaining work may require short-term lane closures, according to the state Department of Transportation.

■ COPENHAGEN — Because of Hurricane Sandy, the Copenhagen Central School District Board of Education meeting scheduled for Monday has been rescheduled for next Monday in Room 314. The board’s Audit Committee will meet at 6 p.m. followed by the board meeting at 6:30 p.m.
