NORFOLK—Graveside services for 76 year old George W. (Peanut) Harriman Sr. will be held privately in Bixby Cemetery, Norfolk. Mr. Harriman passed away early Monday Morning at the Massena Memorial Hospital. George is survived by his wife of 52 years, Linda, Norfolk; his two sons, William and Francine Harriman, Brasher Falls and George and Jodie Harriman, Norfolk; his daughter, Kathy Yaworski, Rome, NY; five grandchildren, one great-grandchild and one step-granddaughter and one step great-granddaughter. George was pre-deceased by his brother, Elmer.

Born in Star Lake, NY on August 18, 1936 to the late Elmer and Marion Murch Harriman, he worked at General Motors in Massena for 26 years, retiring in 2002. He worked as a Die Cast Operator and a Lost Foam Technician. George served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Norfolk American Legion.
