LOWVILLE A Beaver Falls man was arraigned Thursday in Lewis County Court on charges that he had sexual contact with two underage girls.
Billie J. Wilmot, 35, of 9624 Main St., was charged in an unsealed indictment with a single count of first-degree criminal sex act, two counts apiece of third-degree rape and first-degree sexual abuse, four counts of third-degree sexual abuse and five counts of third-degree criminal sex act and pleaded innocent. He was released to probation, and his case was adjourned to Nov. 9.
Mr. Wilmot was accused of having improper sexual relations with two girls under the age of 17, one between September 2010 and December 2011 and the other between February and April.
He was arrested Wednesday morning on a bench warrant from County Court.
The charges stemmed from a joint investigation by the Lewis County Sheriffs Department and the child protective services unit at the county Department of Social Services.
