Polling places in the north country have now closed, and Boards of Elections are starting to report unofficial vote tallies.

In one north country race, Assemblywoman Janet Duprey, R-Peru, faces two challengers: Democrat Timothy Carpenter and Conservative Party candidate Karen Bisso.

With zero percent of precincts reporting, the race is tied.

Franklin County:

Duprey: 8,332

St. Lawrence County:
